File 02 · About

Self‑taught florist since 2008. Serial entrepreneur. ADHD mom who wears too many hats.

Creative Intuition Guide · Educator · Speaker

Hi,
I'm Janelle.

Founder and chief creative officer of Lavenders Flowers (2012) and Tono + Co (2015). Now building The Hive.

My story

From the gray shirt back to the cobalt one.

i.

My mom is an artist, and I grew up with The Artist's Way in my hand. I studied drawing, sculpture and painting in Italy. I'm a self-taught florist, working with flowers since 2008 and teaching other florists since 2014.

ii.

I didn't find out I was neurodivergent until my 30s. For years I wore the gray shirt instead of the cobalt one. Getting my creative self back took practice: noticing, asking why, following the pull.

iii.

I guide people back to their sparkle, the creative, intuitive self they safely tucked away. Sometimes that's a flower lesson. Sometimes it's a little team of AI helpers carrying the busy work.
